Belgium is a country of rich history, famous art, decadent chocolate, cold beer, and picture worthy landscapes. We recently did a three night, four day adventure to the northern part of Belgium and came home with an appreciation for the preservation of such a charming country. Our hotel was in Ghent and we explored the country's capital of Brussels and the quaint canals of Bruges. Each city was unique and offered a perfect day trip experience with only a 30 minute train ride away. Before we get to where we stayed, what we ate, and all that we saw, we wanted to give some snapshots of this new favorite European destination. More on that to come!
